About Us

Arcadia Pets is a full line, privately owned pet store in Staten Island, offering Aquariums, tropical fish, exotic birds and bird cages, cat supply, dog grooming, AKC pedigree puppies, dog supply, reptiles and amphibians, terrariums, cages, small furry animals, hermit crabs, and all the necessary supplies and housing for all types of pets. Our pet shop has been in operation since April of 1990. We are celebrating our 30th year anniversary and can honestly say we are the longest standing, originally owned, most experienced pet store in Staten Island! We are more than supplies - the Animals are what we are about! Playful, healthy Puppies, tropical fish, exotic reptiles and birds, and small animals too! Expert dog grooming is done by Donna, and we are open 7 days a week, Monday through Saturday 9am to 8pm, and Sunday 10am till 5pm. We are located at 4371 Amboy road, Staten Island, NY 10312. We can also be reached by public transportation, walking distance from Eltingville Train Station and Bus service from Richmond Avenue and Hylan Boulevard. I buy all my pet supplies here. Tommy the owner and angelina the manager and all the staff are so friendly and extremely helpful. If you do not see what you need, they will order it for you. They answer all your questions and take great pride in there work. I bought a beautiful golden retriever from tommy 10 years ago. His name is bandit and he is the best dog ever, i love him so much. I told tommy what i wanted and he got me my bandit at 2 months old. He is still so strong and healthy. Donna takes such pride in grooming all pets people bring in. She clips my little dogs nails all the time, and although peanut gives her a hard time, she treats him with so much love. I am a customer for life. I will never shop anywhere else for any of my pets needs.
